The Story

CTO Lighting presents the AVALON HALO, a striking chandelier inspired by the legendary island where tales of light and shadow have long captivated imaginations. The design features cascades of light emanating from alabaster rings, encased in brass or bronze, producing an exquisite and ambient glow.

Honed alabaster cylinders are suspended by minimal stainless-steel cables, creating the illusion of floating gracefully within any interior. The AVALON HALO combines two chandeliers in a tiered formation to form a dramatic centrepiece, available in two sizes—101 cm or 130 cm in diameter—perfectly suited for living areas, dining rooms, or commercial spaces.

Under the guidance of founders Chris and Clare, the studio embraced hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-crafted stone, establishing a distinctive approach to materiality and detail. This considered refinement led to CTO Lighting being recognised as a British luxury lighting brand, with manufacturing rooted in the UK.CTO Lighting has collaborated with leading industry figures including David Collins Studio, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, contributing to prestigious interiors worldwide. The studio has also been commissioned to create bespoke lighting for landmark destinations such as The Savoy, The Dorchester London, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

Working with respected, award-winning designers including Autoban, Michael Verheyden and Stephane Parmentier, CTO Lighting continues to bring depth and character to its collections. In 2016, the brand opened its first exclusive London showroom, offering a dedicated space to present its work. Today, the collection is distributed globally through leading design-led retailers and specified by international interior designers and architects.
