Created by Kimberley Harris, Painted In The Wind captures a sense of gentle movement and fleeting atmosphere through expressive yet controlled abstraction. Soft, drifting brushwork and airy tonal transitions suggest elements carried on a breeze, evoking both freedom and quiet contemplation. The composition remains balanced, with lightness offset by subtle structure, allowing the eye to wander without losing focus. Harris’s delicate layering introduces depth while preserving an open, uncluttered surface. Elegant and quietly emotive, the piece lends a refined, calming presence to interiors, making it especially suited to living spaces, bedrooms or thoughtfully curated gallery arrangements.

Artwork by Kimberley Harris
One of Kimberley Harris’s earliest memories is of being taken by her father—an avid admirer of Impressionist art—to a JMW Turner exhibition at the Tate Gallery. That formative experience sparked her determination to paint, leading to a Diploma in Art and Design in 2005.
Her practice was renewed in 2014 after meeting a respected artist who introduced her to oil painting and the palette knife. Through this process, Kimberley Harris established a distinctive visual language of her own, inspired by the natural beauty of the countryside that surrounds and informs her work.
