One of Kimberley Harris’s earliest memories is of being taken by her father, a keen admirer of Impressionist art, to a JMW Turner exhibition at the Tate Gallery. That experience proved formative, inspiring her ambition to paint and leading to the completion of a Diploma in Art and Design in 2005.

Her passion for painting was reignited in 2014 after meeting a respected artist who introduced her to oil paints and the palette knife. Through this medium, Kimberley Harris developed a distinctive style rooted in the natural beauty of the countryside that surrounds her. Her work places strong emphasis on colour and light, exploring how each shifts throughout the day, with Turner’s influence remaining a constant reference. Careful layering and blending with the palette knife are central to achieving the desired tone, texture and sense of light.

To date, Kimberley Harris has sold works across the UK, with paintings also held in private collections in the USA and Australia.
