Still Air, Sunset Skies by Kimberley Harris
Hand-fabricated in the UK | 3–4 weeks
Created by British artist Kimberley Harris, Still Air, Sunset Skies captures a fleeting moment of calm as colour softens and light begins to settle. Gentle transitions of tone and atmosphere evoke the hush of evening, inviting quiet reflection and unhurried viewing. The composition feels suspended in balance, where warmth and restraint coexist with subtle confidence.
Harris’s refined layering and sensitive handling of surface lend depth without distraction, allowing the work to unfold slowly over time. Serene yet expressive, this piece brings a calming presence to contemporary or traditional interiors, making it especially suited to living spaces, bedrooms or thoughtfully curated gallery walls.

Artwork by Kimberley Harris
One of Kimberley Harris’s earliest memories is of being taken by her father—an avid admirer of Impressionist art—to a JMW Turner exhibition at the Tate Gallery. That formative experience sparked her determination to paint, leading to a Diploma in Art and Design in 2005.
Her practice was renewed in 2014 after meeting a respected artist who introduced her to oil painting and the palette knife. Through this process, Kimberley Harris established a distinctive visual language of her own, inspired by the natural beauty of the countryside that surrounds and informs her work.
