Named after the seventy-two precision lines engraved around the barrel, the ‘Pinstripe 72’ draws inspiration from the timeless sophistication of the classic banker’s suit. Originally conceived as a distinctly masculine design, much like the iconic pinstripe itself, the collection has become equally admired by both men and women for its understated elegance.
Available in the Standard size as both a fountain pen and rollerball, the Pinstripe 72 stands apart from YARD-O-LED’s more ornate hand-chased and traditional turned collections. Its finely engine-turned finish delivers a clean, contemporary aesthetic while remaining deeply rooted in British craftsmanship.
YARD-O-LED’s Birmingham workshop is home to some of the oldest engine-turning machines still in operation today, dating back to 1857. Every Pinstripe 72 is individually engine turned by skilled silversmiths, preserving a rare heritage technique that continues to define the brand.
