Handcrafted from solid 925 sterling silver and originally introduced in 1994, the YARD-O-LED Ambassador Ballpoint Pen is designed with a heavier profile than the Standard model, offering a substantial and balanced writing experience. Defined by clean lines and understated elegance rather than elaborate embellishment, the Ambassador’s appeal lies in its timeless simplicity. Weighing just over 43 grammes and featuring a 10mm diameter barrel, it is the largest ballpoint model within the brand’s collection, creating a bold and impactful writing instrument.

This edition is subtly enhanced with the Cypher engine-turned pattern, a distinctive design developed for YARD-O-LED’s traditional engine-turning machines using historic pattern bars rediscovered in the workshop’s safe. Unused for decades, these heritage tools have been revived for the new Ambassador range, offering collectors and enthusiasts a fresh interpretation of the brand’s classic craftsmanship.

Each pen is finished with the historic YARD-O-LED solid silver clip, individually punched by hand in the workshop and marked with its own unique number. Every writing instrument in the collection is crafted from sterling silver and hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office, ensuring authenticity and exceptional quality.
