Handcrafted entirely from solid 925 sterling silver and first introduced in 1994, the YARD-O-LED Ambassador Pencil is designed with a heavier profile than the Standard model, offering a substantial and balanced feel in hand. Free from excessive ornamentation, the Ambassador’s elegance lies in its refined simplicity. Weighing just over 43 grammes and featuring a 10mm diameter barrel, it is the largest pencil model within the brand’s collection, creating a striking and distinguished writing instrument.
This edition is subtly enhanced with the Barley Waves engine-turned pattern, a revived commercial design developed from historic pattern bars discovered in the workshop’s safe. Unused for decades, these traditional patterns have now been reintroduced to the Ambassador range, bringing a fresh interpretation of classic craftsmanship for collectors and new admirers of the brand alike.
Each pencil is finished with the historic YARD-O-LED solid silver clip, individually punched by hand in the workshop and marked with its own unique number. Every piece within the range is crafted from sterling silver and hallmarked by the Birmingham Assay Office, certifying its authenticity and exceptional quality.
