Insulator Pendant AB by Novocastrian

The Insulator Pendant Light by Novocastrian captures the industrial elegance of Britain’s railways during the golden age of travel. Inspired by the glass insulators once suspended above the tracks, the design forms part of the Insulator Lighting Collection and pays tribute to early 20th-century engineering with a refined Art Deco influence.

Each lamp body is machined from solid brass or steel, paired with pressed glass, then carefully hand-finished and assembled within the company’s UK workshop.

In keeping with much of Novocastrian’s work, the metal finishes are left un-lacquered, creating a ‘living’ surface that gradually develops a rich and authentic patina over time. The evolving character of the brass and glass construction enhances the pendant’s distinctive appeal.

The fitting can be wired to order for both 120v and 240v systems. It is mains dimmable and may require a suitable driver when used with a lighting control system.

A GU10 bulb is required but not included.
