The design language of the Relic Wall Light by CTO Lighting draws upon the idea of a precious fragment rediscovered from the past. Its composition is pared back to clean, architectural lines, complemented by an asymmetric shade that brings quiet distinction. Designed to enhance hallways, reception rooms and refined interiors, it introduces a luminous focal point with understated luxury and contemporary poise.

Rich antique bronze or polished nickel metalwork sits harmoniously alongside alabaster and kiln-formed glass, creating a palette of noble materials. The chamfered base projects subtly from the wall, refracting light in a sculptural manner. A geometric shard of alabaster or artisan glass emits a soft yet radiant glow, while the angular solid brass form contrasts beautifully with the fragmented shade. Concealed within the base, a crystallised diffuser enhances the light, producing the distinctive, atmospheric radiance achieved through CTO Lighting’s unique artisan process.

Under the guidance of founders Chris and Clare, the studio embraced hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-crafted stone, establishing a distinctive approach to materiality and detail. This considered refinement led to CTO Lighting being recognised as a British luxury lighting brand, with manufacturing rooted in the UK.CTO Lighting has collaborated with leading industry figures including David Collins Studio, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, contributing to prestigious interiors worldwide. The studio has also been commissioned to create bespoke lighting for landmark destinations such as The Savoy, The Dorchester London, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

Working with respected, award-winning designers including Autoban, Michaël Verheyden and Stéphane Parmentier, CTO Lighting continues to bring depth and character to its collections. In 2016, the brand opened its first exclusive London showroom, offering a dedicated space to present its work. Today, the collection is distributed globally through leading design-led retailers and specified by international interior designers and architects.
