Designed and crafted by CTO Lighting, the NIMBUS Wall Light offers a contemporary interpretation of a classic form. A fritted glass disc, individually handmade by skilled artisans, is set against precisely engineered solid brass metalwork, available in a satin brass or bronze finish.

Understated yet distinctive, the organic glass gently reflects and diffuses light, creating a warm, softly atmospheric glow. Each disc is unique, formed by hand to produce subtle undulations and crystal-like textures, ensuring no two pieces are ever identical.

Beautifully balanced by its symmetrical metalwork, the NIMBUS Wall Light is particularly effective above sofas and armchairs, and equally suited to hallways or narrower architectural spaces where refined illumination is required.

Under the guidance of founders Chris and Clare, the studio embraced hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-crafted stone, establishing a distinctive approach to materiality and detail. This considered refinement led to CTO Lighting being recognised as a British luxury lighting brand, with manufacturing rooted in the UK.CTO Lighting has collaborated with leading industry figures including David Collins Studio, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, contributing to prestigious interiors worldwide. The studio has also been commissioned to create bespoke lighting for landmark destinations such as The Savoy, The Dorchester London, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

Working with respected, award-winning designers including Autoban, Michael Verheyden and Stephane Parmentier, CTO Lighting continues to bring depth and character to its collections. In 2016, the brand opened its first exclusive London showroom, offering a dedicated space to present its work. Today, the collection is distributed globally through leading design-led retailers and specified by international interior designers and architects.
