The Lucid Wall Light by CTO Lighting is an elegant fitting, featuring a dome of honed alabaster mounted directly to the wall via a sleek, precision-engineered backplate. Integrated LED lighting radiates from beneath the stone, highlighting its natural veining and creating a warm, ethereal glow that can be dimmed to suit different moods and settings. Designed by Michael Verheyden, the Lucid collection takes inspiration from Parisian brasseries and snowdomes. CTO Lighting celebrates premium materials throughout, including honed alabaster and hand-finished brass in satin, silvered, or oxidised silver, developed in collaboration with a specialist silversmith to achieve distinctive textured surfaces.

Under the guidance of founders Chris and Clare, the studio embraced hand-finished brass, mouth-blown glass and artisan-crafted stone, establishing a distinctive approach to materiality and detail. This considered refinement led to CTO Lighting being recognised as a British luxury lighting brand, with manufacturing rooted in the UK.CTO Lighting has collaborated with leading industry figures including David Collins Studio, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, contributing to prestigious interiors worldwide. The studio has also been commissioned to create bespoke lighting for landmark destinations such as The Savoy, The Dorchester London, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

Working with respected, award-winning designers including Autoban, Michael Verheyden and Stephane Parmentier, CTO Lighting continues to bring depth and character to its collections. In 2016, the brand opened its first exclusive London showroom, offering a dedicated space to present its work. Today, the collection is distributed globally through leading design-led retailers and specified by international interior designers and architects.
