The Jules Pendant by CTO Lighting takes its name from the Belgian architect Jules Wabbé, whose furniture and interiors championed reductive forms and clean lines. Reflecting this modernist influence, the pendant combines sculptural cast bronze with a delicately blown oval glass shade, marrying traditional metal casting techniques with expert glass craftsmanship. Each bronze section is poured and cast in the UK, assembled to the required height, and antiqued to emphasise its linear texture and distinctive form.

The light, acid-etched glass shade balances the solid silhouette of the sectional drop rod, diffusing the LED to create CTO Lighting’s signature warm glow. Designed with both presence and subtlety, the Jules Pendant is ideal for dining rooms, reception areas, hallways, bedrooms, and powder rooms, offering a truly unique and refined statement for contemporary interiors.

This considered refinement led to CTO Lighting being recognised as a British luxury lighting brand, with manufacturing rooted in the UK.CTO Lighting has collaborated with leading industry figures including David Collins Studio, Philippe Starck and Martin Brudnizki Design Studio, contributing to prestigious interiors worldwide. The studio has also been commissioned to create bespoke lighting for landmark destinations such as The Savoy, The Dorchester London, St Pancras Renaissance Hotel and Chiltern Firehouse.

Working with respected, award-winning designers including Autoban, Michael Verheyden and Stephane Parmentier, CTO Lighting continues to bring depth and character to its collections. In 2016, the brand opened its first exclusive London showroom, offering a dedicated space to present its work. Today, the collection is distributed globally through leading design-led retailers and specified by international interior designers and architects.
